It’s raining on my nearly dried washing

If only I’d been bothered to bring in the duvet covers and sheets when I had the chance. Now they are dripping on the line, more wet than when they first came out of the machine. The sky is grey and lumpy and I need something to cheer me up.  So, let me share with you the photos from a lovely day in Oxford last Friday, when my son finally decided to put in an application for a college place.

Other news for anyone who lives in Dorset, you may also be interested in the following workshop. To celebrate National Poetry Day, Helen Pizzey is leading a workshop titled ‘A Mouth of Many Voices’. You are invited to share a few lines or a stanza from you favourite poem or poet. The aim of the workshop is to merge many streams of poetry into a fast-running river, alive with sound and meaning.
